Cover for my original novella Avarini featuring the title character.
Chapter 1 will be released Sunday, February 6.
I really enjoyed this photo-manipulation. It was a huge challenge as Avarini's culture is partially inspired by the Turkic people of ancient Anatolia, and there is a scarcity of decent reference photos and absolutely no stock images. So when it came to clothing, I had to improvise a lot, and it was quite hard to get the new clothes actually look like clothes. And, once again, I end up hiding all of my hard work when I moved on to the "design" part.
Anyway, I am pleased how this "book cover" turned out.
