Emilie Wright, PBS Project

This is a much better sketch of Emilie Wright, a main character from my PBS Project story where five unique seniors are recruited as international secret agents [Group Picture].

I absolutely love how this piece turned out! I think I will try my hand at the other four characters of this story: Tyrone, Rebecca, Kyle, and Alejo.

About Emilie...

Emilie comes from an interesting home... her father is retired military and her mother is German, so she was raised with English and German as her native languages. Her specialty is languages, and she speaks five languages fluently and knows enough of a few others to get by. She is friendly, talkative, and has the tendency to talk to herself in German. Academically, she is in the top of her class though her favorite subjects are history and languages.

She does not quite feel that she is up to being a field agent, as she is not as athletic as the others. She is partnered with Kyle, a reserved young man who is easily irritated despite Emilie's attempts to be friends. Eventually, after an incident in the field, Kyle begins to teach Emilie martial arts (his specialty).

As for Alejo, they are really good friends, which is demonstrated by their bickering and teasing back and forth. It is not uncommon for them to suddenly break out into Spanish... sometimes even over the airways when Emilie and Kyle are on a mission... to Kyle's annoyance. At the beginning, Alejo is really the only other member of the team that Emilie can really act like herself around. Whenever she starts feeling inadequate, Alejo is ready with a pep talk and to remind her: "At least you get to go out in the field while I'm left behind at headquarters."

Emilie's relationships with the other two members of the team, Tyrone and Rebecca (who are field partners), is somewhat limited to the time they spend together in class or at headquarters. Tyrone is always nice and friendly though not exactly open. However, Emilie does not necessarily get along with Rebecca, whose frequent passionate outbursts tend to make her uncomfortable.
